The Full Story
Cheshire Cat Studios was originally created by LaughingMan as a website where he could display his art/graphic work and (like countless nerds before him) write reviews to let his brash and cynical opinions on the entertainment industry be well known. His opinionated reviews began to gain popularity and controversy and the focus of the site began to shift. Still in a sort of identity crisis, Cheshire Cat Studios received additional reviews by his long-time college friend, Zimes, and the two focused heavily on reviewing video games and movies. New members were brought aboard and we have since grown into an online community of creative individuals with a warped, cynical brand of logic.
The REVIEWS page is for our review writers and potential video reviewers. The focus of the website now is to simply be an open community of humorous and cynical video game, movie, music, anime, etc reviewers. Members are credited fully.
The now displaced PICTURES page was used to display the collective image works of CheshireCatStudios.com members. Works mainly include Demotivational Posters and humorous images, as well as the popular GameEx themes created by LaughingMan (fka: firebrand). Members may post their own works on an individual page where they are credited fully.
The ARTICLES page is a new addition to Cheshire Cat Studios where members can post original articles and create their own writer's columns where they can voice their opinions and offer unique perspectives on the subjects of their choice. Members are credited fully.
The VIDEOS page is the landing page for videos series created by CheshireCatStudios.com and its affiliates:
- GameJams, the video game remix podcast, was the first video series from CheshireCatStudios.com, and it has been a smash hit and has been featured on TGWTG.com and BlisteredThumbs.net.
- The Dirty Do Gooders is an affiliate web series about four friends who gain superpowers and have adventures as masked vigilantes.
- Dante VS Rau is a raunchy, copyright infringing (but fair use and parody legal), twisted tale of revenge in the video game universe starring Dante from Devil May Cry and Rau from The Mark of Kri, and is created by CCS founders LaughingMan and Zimes.
- Mockbuster Mockery is one of the only genuinely funny video review series. Created by CineMax, Mockbuster Mockery takes a look at Hollywood Mockbusters.
Can I submit my reviews and/or videos?
We are currently open for more talented members who have an obscure sense of cynical humor. To submit your own review, register in the forum and post it under the Movies, Television, Anime, Music or Video Games threads. If you have a review you would like to share, we will consider posting your review and credit you fully.
