She was unsure if the reception she received meant she could post things on here or not, but apparently she's going for it!

welcome back star.

well just like Laughingman I too am not a huge anime fan but I did watch the review.

A couple of things to help you out:

1) have your review at a constant volume. Too often I was either turning the volume up or down depending what was going on in the review. fortunately no one was around when the F bomb went off and I had my volume up.

2) Have a constant intro. it does not have to be flashy or extreme. consistency does help though. Take this guy for example: Fluffie Talks or this guy Ask a Ninja something stupid and catchy works just as well as something smart and flashy.

3) shorten the intro of the anime. if you have a specific example of what was freaky let us know. to me I was watching the entire intro to the show and didnt really know what was effed up with it to begin with (to me, the whole anime intro was effed up) but that could have been shown with a 10 second clip.

again, I'm not that into Anime and I could be way off base but these are things that might help.

She's totally free to post reviews in the forum. I was just debating if we would feature video reviews from people who aren't frequent visitors/contributors. Written reviews we drool over because that's more written content for the site, thereby more Search Engine hits.

I suppose we could feature video reviews if the contributor has a few good written reviews under their belt. Sound good?

The series is dedicated to analyzing and eviscerating tasteless low-budged B-grade knock-offs of more popular and expensive Hollywood flicks - Mockbusters. CineMax is an amateur, yet aspiring movie critic, who makes comedic video reviews, writes insightful and analytical articles, and, occasionally just blabbers about stuff he deems important.

First off thank you for the warm welcome back. Second thank you Zimes for the constructive criticism. I'm always wanting to learn more and try to give a better show. I'll take it into consideration. And as far as the sound, Ill do my best but its difficult. All I have to work with is a really basic microphone (used for narration), Windows Movie Maker, enough said and the Mic on my camera, which is just a digital camera with a video button on it isn't that great. So not that I'm trying to make excuses, but again I'm limited and I'm doing the best I can with what I got. But again I will try to work on that... could of swore the audio was ok for the most part though...

Yes the whole opening was freaky. They are all just laughing away. Maybe they are related to laughingman, lol .... ok bad joke anyway. I'm glad you guys have watched and like the review. I'm doing my best to write a better script from the last.

As now I'm workin on my next review and trying to add more 'energy' as one person suggested in the thatguywiththeglasses.com forums. They also suggested about shortening the opening, but I thought it was a good idea to do that because its different, its introduces you to the series a little better (and its characters, slightly) and the music on some of them is just awesome/ fun.

But I'm not as stubborn as I seem I do want to learn and become a better reviewer.

As far as what Laughingman hinted at, about writing reviews. I guess I could give it a try. Not that I'm against it, just not sure if I'd be any good at it. ^_^* But I will try when I find something worth writing about, honest.

There are some really bad animes out there and they are not hard to find. But it is all personal tastes. I don't rant a lot and try to provide good reviews but a rant might be fun. They do seem to be more popular here. :)
