Videos are always a pleasant surprise. The Do Gooders video looked fun but I wish there were more teasers regarding the crime fighting and the neat looking costumes. I don't know exactly what to make of Dante VS Rou yet but it sparked my curiosity.

A celebration is indeed in order. Very big news delivered as promised. Unfortunately we will have to wait another 2 months to see either series as a finished product but they should be good. Will we be seeing more trailers in the near future?

Dante v Rau has me confuzled. I get the jokes but not the context of the show. I guess that the dirty do gooders is the same way.

In regards to Dante vs Rau:

As one person in a PM was more than happy to take all but 5 seconds to jump on his high-horse and bash it and wanting us to make the trailer look like a Yo Yo Ma video, DvR needs a little explanation on our intent.

DvR is a rude, South Park-esque comedy involving everything Zimes and I hate about video games. Zimes and I are focusing on the voice-work, the jokes, the scenarios, and whatnot. The visual 'style' is nothing more than rough graphic representations of the characters involved and the situations they're in. For example, the cutscenes in Twisted Metal on the PSP is a good reference of 'still image narration'.

Plus, Zimes and I don't have the budget, time, or resources to make the series "Teh 3Dz!!" or anything extravagant like hire artists, and why would we? We're not making Red vs Blue here. It'd take months of our time to make each episode (we do have lives), and more than likely we'll get a Cease and Desist order by mid-summer.

But the visual style works because every episode is narrated like a phone call between Dante and Rau, and hence the focus is on the audio, where the video is just icing on the cake.

Hope that clears up some things.

Like GameJams and its videos, where the emphasis is on the audio, but the video is an extra treat!
