The Dead Horse Interchange and CCS

Hey folks! LaughingMan was perusing the internet today when he found a thread about us in the Dead Horse Interchange, and I thought that was pretty neat news! They like the site, and they offer some good constructive crits for GameJams! What do you guys think?

I must confess, I knew about their website long before today and always got the kicks out of their wiki and forums (which shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone given my attitude towards TGWTG/Cameos/Crossovers and etc.)

Anyways, the fact that they found the site to be interesting is already flattering, so, if anyone of the DHI fellas are reading this - thanks!

I guess Ken put this in the public forum. No biggie, since we're not conspiring or crying about anything.

Any thoughts on an appropriate reply about GameJams and CCS, or if we should even reply at all?

How is Game Jams any lazier than everything on the internet?

I haven't heard of this site before, but why would you want to reply? It may come off as being very needy and creepy like an emotionally damaged man who stalks his exgirlfriend. I would leave it well alone.

lmao yeah. The best I can do is work off of the constructive crits they provide, along with other crits from other people, and build GJ up more and more to the best it can be! Same with all of us and our content . There's no harm in encouragement!

How is the popularity of this particular community? Would it be worth their involvement to better publicize the work we do? If so, perhaps a very lighthearted reply could be in order, though tread lightly for fear of facing ridicule.

Their decent folk, I'll give you that. However, thanks to their rather controversial view on most, if not all, of "Internet Celebrities", they've basically become every TGWTG fanboy nightmare. You know, 'cos to them everyone who dares to provide any form of criticism other than blind mindless praise is immediately considered trolling.

As for a possible future partnership, I don't really see this working out (not because they're not worth it but because their site has a completely different structure/theme going on). I'd say listen to their criticism, but an official response? I dunno, it's not like they asked for it or called us out, so it would be for the best to live this as it is

Sorry bro but how was that last comment constructive criticism? All I read was that he thinks that the show sucks and that we're interesting without defining what kind of 'interesting' it is. I don't know who they are and I don't care so why is this such big news? If a review was featured on Yahoo News that would be post worthy but this isn't really anything to get happy or pissed over.

Cinemax seems to know who they are and that they have a reputation within the review community, so why isn't this news worthy? I will however agree that some suggestions as per the direction of Mr. Farino's podcast would be beneficial and welcomed, as with all of our collective work.
