If you are any self respecting head banger or hard rock and roll fan then you can not call your life complete unless you see Spinal Tap. Top Heavy Metal musicians like Dee Snider of Twisted Sister say that the stuff like getting lost back stage actually happens in real life. It is like Spinal Tap takes the funniest and craziest tour bus stories and makes it one awesome movie.

Here's another horror movie from me. Because I'm the horror guy, damn it!
DAWN OF THE DEAD
The essential holy grail of zombie films, Dawn of the Dead challenges the social changes happening at the time, like the appearance of shopping malls and why motorcyclists are douchebags. Oh, and social breakdown/amity and all that jazz. Plus it's an awesome zombie movie with possibly the greatest ending theme of all time, brought to you by the Goblins:
God do I love turning on this theme to snipe zombies in Left4Dead.

For a social insight, I would have suggested the original Night of the Living Dead because the lead male was a black man, which was almost unheard of in those days. It was also one of the most violent films ever made during that era.

Yeah, but I believe that Dawn of the Dead was the most superior film in the trilogy in terms of technique and themes. Personally, Day of the Dead is my favorite of those movies.
