There are a few things on each review I do and don't agree with:

- I don't think that the movie sucks because it is a little bit like other movies. There was enough of a story around the general concept that made it not a 'cookie cutter' Ferngully clone.
- The computer animation is the best of all time. It is so much better than in Lord of the Rings and King Kong.
- The Colonel is a great villain and a dammed cool character. He really is great.
- I think that the movie is more anti-military than anti-white. There were blacks asians and latins who were killing the Na'Vi not just the white people. The company is just as evil and also stupid. So the company hires scientists and pays them lots of money for reasearch and for advice, and when the scientists say not to destroy the big spirit trees the company weasel and Colonel don't listen to them? The film is supposed to make the military and corporations look evil and make the hippy scientists be the good guys.

You two said that the last battle is awesome and I agree 120%. But I can't believe that Ritos didn't dig into 'bows and arrows blowing up tanks'. That part was BS.

Also, why is it that when Doug Walker does a Bum review and criticizes this movie (calling it Ferngully, Dances with Wolves, etc), EVERYBODY on the website is suddenly saying the same thing in their blog or video reviews of the movie? Is it because their lips are puckered up and sealed tight to his left ass cheek? I mean Jesus! This is just like the people who form their opinions solely on what a critic says, their minds formed like jelly only because a critic tells them what to think. Have half of the people on TGWTG even the movie? Most of their opinions sound the same as the Bum, and they site many of the same examples given in the Bum review (pretty images but lame story, "Ferngully," etc).

That's because most fanboys are Nazis in a very literal sense.

Notice that if you say that one of the Nostalgia Critic's videos are 'mediocre' or (god forbid *sarcasm*) 'ANNOYING' then your comment will get voted down and you'll receive hate mail? It's because the Nostalgia Critic is the 2nd coming of Christ and if you don't agree with 100% of everything he says and not conform to the hive-mind of 15 year-olds, you're a heretic and not worthy of getting recognized by Doug Walker personally. Not that he will ever care about you anyways; you're just ad revenue.

Ahem...

Anyways, back on the subject:

I SAW AVATAR LAST NIGHT. It was actually better than I expected, but it wasn't a great movie. Honestly, the movie 'Wall-E' had a bigger impact on me than 'Avatar', not just in graphics but in the message of the story. Wall-E was about human consumption and where it may lead us, and it was also a really interesting semi-silent movie. Avatar was too preachy with the 'evil humans' thing for me to take seriously. The action was pretty good, and the CGI was impressive.

THAT COLONEL KICKED SO MUCH ASS!!

I'm happy that it at least surpassed expectations! Thanks for giving it a shot!

I've seen it twice already and tonight may possibly mark the 3rd. I enjoyed it in a visual sense.
