Riffing Mama Mia! would be a sweet project. You should make an audio file like the RiffTrax guys do so that people can play your commentary during the movie. I would hit it up.

Hell yeah!! I don't think you should rip off the LaffTrax guys but if you could do your own spin on the idea it would fly.

Nice read man. I still can't beleive that all of these Holywood (not Hollywood) morons like Stone and Sean Penn all think that they know all of the answers to the world's problems. That is what happens when you have undereducated losers become famous actors. It is the same as giving airtime to hippies they just keep talking out of their asses until they can't breathe.

I think a Lafftrack would be a good idea too but let us sample it so we can let you know if it sucks or not.

Just one little nit-pick: Oliver Stone didn't direct Kingdom of Heaven, Ridley Scott did. It's funny I read this post, since I'm actually going through Oliver Stone's "Nixon" right now (it's massively long, so I'm sort of treating it like a mini-series, by watching it in parts). It's quite interesting and the actors all do nice jobs, but there's one massive flaw I've noticed: it's incredibly one-sided in its depiction of Richard Nixon. They don't give a single positive attribute, instead portraying him as some sort of soul-less monster who makes one idiotic mistake after another. He doesn't have a single redeeming quality. Now, I wasn't alive when Richard Nixon was president, so I don't know how good he was and I haven't really read up on him, but I'm sure he has some good aspects in his personality. But, no. Stone doesn't give a single good thing about Nixon in this. There are even two scenes that imply that Nixon was, in some way, responsible for the deaths of John and Robert Kennedy. If Stone can make a sympathetic portrait of George W Bush, he could surely have done the same for Nixon. In a way, this Nixon reminds me of his animated version on Futurama: But, I can forgive that one because he's meant to be a cartoonish portrait of Nixon and not meant to be a realistic depiction of him. Needless to say, if you want to see an interpretation of Richard Nixon that's not quite as one-sided, give "Frost/Nixon" a look.
