No. No no no no no no. I resisted watching the prologue of The Dark Knight when it was first released several months before the actual movie, and I'm sure I can do it now. I just want to preserve the, hrmph, 'integrity' of the experience when I'm going to watch The Dark Knight Rises.

Don't worry about seeing or hearing spoilers because this bootleg video is inaudible and the visual quality is less than stellar. You really have to read the transcript before watching or else you run the risk of increasing the volume of your computer speakers trying to understand a word that Bane is saying.

The Dark Knight drove me crazy when all of Joker's plans went as smooth as clockwork and that he perfectly predicted what every one else would do in his schemes. Now Bane is playing mastermind. Christopher Nolan has apparently never heard of Murphy's Law.

@AlphawolfX: Except Bane is supposed to be a mastermind. He's not just some simple-minded brute like he was in the Schumacher movie or, sadly, to a certain degree, in Batman: The Animated Series. He's cold-blooded, manipulative, highly intelligent, and for fuck's sake, he figured out Batman's true identity just by noticing similarities in The Dark Knight and Bruce Wayne's movements. Oh, and need I even mention he's the only one to literally "break the Bat?"

So no, no blaming Nolan this time. Not when we're about to receive the first, proper incarnation of one of the most underplayed Batman villains of all time.

Edit: Now you see it; now you don't.

Edit: Ruining my fun, I eat you.

Something tells me this is a predictable PR move to get the hype train rolling

@Ken: ...you do know that the aforesaid 'prologue' is being legally shown before the new Mission Impossible film in every (or at least, most) theater, right? Of course it's a PR stunt, jeez!

I couldn't resist, I looked.

I can barely understand what Bane says in his Darth Vader breathing apparatus, but it's creepy as hell.

"We're going to crash this plane... no survivors."

And that bit at the end where he his carrying the broken mask of Batman. I sincerely hope that The Dark Knight Rises is even better than The Dark Knight.
