The new Rammstein music video is out now, and it is probably the most awesome one they've done in a long while.

Without the pornography from 'Pussy' or the fuckered-up-chaos and body modifications of 'Ich Tu Dir Weh', Rammstein goes back to its music video magic by producing an extremely entertaining music video that is darkly humerous and actually tells an interesting story.

The song, 'Haifisch' or 'Shark' is basically about how we interpret sharks as cold-blooded killers, but in fact sharks can actually cry (they have tear ducts), but you can never see them cry because they're always under the water. Hence, the song refers to Rammstein fans as sharks that would probably cry on the inside if the band ever broke up.

The Haifisch music video is also a clever play on a rumor that circled a few years ago that lead singer, Till Lindemann, was leaving Rammstein and that the other members were actively searching for a replacement. Both the song and the music video for 'Haifisch' reassure Rammstein fans that the band members are very close friends and that none of them are replaceable; if one member leaves, Rammstein will likely cease to exist rather than continue without the original members.

Till Lindemann, lead singer for Rammstein and one of my idols, is dead, and the band members are already looking for a new lead singer during his funeral, including who appears to be the lead guitarist from Metallica, James Hetfield. The funeral erupts into fights and other darkly humorous situations, but it is the flashbacks to previous music videos that is the most awesome part of the video.

Each band member thinks back to previous music videos (Du Hast, Ohne Dich, America, Sonne, etc) but the outcomes for each 'memory' ends murderously as each band member remembers killing lead singer in a different way. Or is it that each band member starts to suspect another of killing Till? The video is a little ambiguous, but it's a cool throw back to the previous music videos.

Towards the end the band members all get remorseful and end up getting themselves into a massive brawl with one another, complete with a little girl collecting their teeth to show her parents what she found. The very end is hilarious but I won't spoil it, so watch the video now!

The new music video 'Haifisch' is a testament as to why Rammstein continues to be one of my favorite bands.

That was one of the best music videos I've ever seen. Every one was suspecting each other for murdering the one dude was clever and the fights were the icing on the cake.

Yeah... Fucking YouTube is the Great Satan of the internet for letting the RIAA and MPAA go to excess with their copyright protection.

I updated the video, but who knows for how long it will be there...

I have not heard that much of Rammstein's apart from Du Hasst but this song is good. I especially enjoy the chorus melody and the string guitar. Maybe I should find the other music videos so that I can understand the flaaback scenes.

I like music videos that tell a story. Even if I have no clue what they are saying or exactly what is happening in the scenes where they all kill the one man. I think it is interesting how they directed the funeral scenes because even if you don't understand German you can still tell what is going on. It is like as if body language is the universal language.

Was it wrong of me to laugh when all of the band members were beating each other up? And the murder scenes were funny in places as well.

I downloaded the video yesterday from a torrent site and I had to watch it twice. It was sheer awesomeness and a tribute to their earlier great music videos. The funniest part was at the end where Till is alive and well in Hawaii and he sends them a post card of him catching a huge ass shark.

The music videos that Rammstein makes are usually fun to view but I just do not like their music. This shark music video actually has a rather decent song behind it. I thought that the funniest scene was the lead singer dressed like Snow White and spanking one of the dwarfs.
