So I've been working on an Emulator/ROM front end called GameEx for a few years now. It's a program I highly recommend because it really is an all-in-one entertainment hub, complete with a single access point for all your NES, Genesis, Arcade, etc Roms, plus it plays DVDs, videos, music, and whatnot.

The front end has a built in jukebox that I think is pretty sweet because it automatically plays music from a playlist when you start the program up.

So I was scrounging the internet for some classic video game music for my front end when I came across the site "Over Clocked Remix". Classic and newer video game songs are remixed by other people and some of the results are surprisngly awesome:

Ninja Gaiden Basilisk Remix

Castlevania Bloody Hell OC


Some of the work they did with the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time's "Guerdo Valley" theme is awesome, too. I'll post more when I find them.

I'm not a fan of adding vocals where they weren't before. Still sounds very soothing and has amazing quality.
