I'm a huge Rammstein fan but I was late on the ball with the latest word from the German supergroup. Turns out that after four years they've realeased a new single, titled PUSSY.
Here we go......
So I first caught the 'clean' youtube version that is floating around to hear the music:
SAFE FOR WORK, AS IN 'YES YOU CAN WATCH IT'.
My opinion is that the music has a decent beat and sound to it, but Till (the lead singer) singing in English is so goddamn dumb, but awesome because it's NOT SUPPOSED TO BE SERIOUS. It's like they're saying, "We can sing about ANYTHING because we're that fucking awesome."
So then I watched the FULL VERSION... Oh snap... they went there... NOT SAFE FOR WORK!!!!! ENJOY!!! http://www.visit-x.net/rammstein/
Any questions about 'how far do we go before getting banned' have officially been answered. You CAN post things like this... as long as they're an external link. Fair enough?

I wondered the same thing. Looking back at the video I think they just did it for shock value, kinda like a grand announcement that "Hey, Rammstein is back!". A big P.R. stunt.
I hear that early reviews of the rest of their album is giving it pretty high praise, saying that Rammstein is going back to the 'Sehnsucht' and 'Herzeleid' sound and away from the power-ballads of 'Rosenrot' and 'Reise, Reise'. Could be good, but some of their power ballads are extremely good, too.

Yeah a PR move is all this is. When you have a shotty product the best way to get people interested in it is to create some kind of controversy that will gain exposure. I was a fan of the old school Rammstien but they have not done anything recently to make me want to buy a record. It looks like I will still be waiting.
