@Zimes i know i know i know i know! But this thing is keeping me sane, its not allowing me to have adobe or skype but atleast i can get online and keep some type of sanity. Its a loner till I can afford ANYTHING. I appreciate what your saying, I sincerely do but please stop being so "rough" about the whole me wanting a mac please

its not about mac hate its about getting some work done. if you need a computer that will do stuff for you a $300 computer will work just fine and you can get some mac head (like Drak) to hack it for you. Not only that but you are taking money from other people to buy this thing. I am sure some of them would be happy to crack a windows or Linux box to make it run OSX.

I was making a crack with a random picture from yahoo images. I don't own anything like this but it could be neat in a really nerdcore way.

Oh Zimes calm down your winders boner here man! You can get macs at very reasonable prices! You think I paid full price for the Dual G5, Dual G4 or the iBook you see in the pic? Psh-aw I say.

I do not work for them, so there is no affiliation aside that I have bought 5 macs from them, all came on time, packed really well and are running strong. GainSavers has some KILLER deals if you jump on them quick.

There are a ton of vendors there to look at and shop around, obviously some of them really have their heads in their asses when pricing used hardware, but that happens everywhere. Good luck and good hunting.

What is wrong with having a Mac? They do a lot with very little hassle and a lot of movie studios and professional photographers use Mac computers for their editing. I am in love with my little Mac Mini because it has every thing that I need and it is all in a neat compact case that is no larger than a pencil box.

I really think no one here wants me to get into my Mac-hating mode again. I have no problems with the Mac OS in general (other than it seems programed to be used by kinder gardeners). Its the over pricing of the Hardware for the same shit that makes regular PC's.

Thank you very much. I appreciate that! Ive seen similar prices (for new macs) on Amazon. And the Apple store in Tampa says they match legitimate sale sites prices, like Amazon. I saw a listing, it was gone same day but i saw a listing on Amazon for a NEW 15" Macbook Pro i5 for $1,100!

I do agree that Mac is COMPLETELY OVERPRICED!!!! I'm sure they could still be billionaires if not trillionaires if they lowered the prices. I mean in my head the therory is if more people could afford it, possibly, more people would buy it, etc.
