Indefinite Detention Act (NDAA) Signed to Law

Quit screwing around with SOPA and worry about the Indefinite Detention Act (NDAA). President Obama, who pledged to veto the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), has now signed it. This law now gives the military the right to arrest American citizens and put them into indefinite detention without trial or due process.

Your Detention Act has been in effect for 10 years bc its an extension of Bush's PATRIOT ACT. The only thing new is that now the military can drag you out of your beds in the night not just the local police.

Just be aware that its the whole Congress that voted in favor of this bill and to initiate change in Government you have to do more than elect a new president you must also elect new senators and governors who believe in the rights of the people.

I've heard from my parents that during World War 2 American citizens of Japanese decent were forced into American prison camps for the duration of the war because the President declared martial law. So it's not unheard of for the Government to use its military to detain citizens without due process of law.
