Create a GameJams advertisement

AWX: I like it, I like it!

I think that it is really good but perhaps it is too simple? I would also like to see an advertisement that focuses a little bit more on the video presentation of the series.

Thanks guys for liking what little I actually did. I thought that it was clean and easy to understand. The one thing I didn't like much about STAR's picture was it was really busy with the background and the crazy witchy fantasy font.

To each their own. But I think that the pic of the hot chick in the headphones will draw in some traffic simply because sex sells.

Never thought a font could be busy, but believe me that looks WAY better than the font i originally had in mind to use.

I keep meaning to make one of theses but i havent had the time my ma has been in the hospital, shes ok now, and ive been workin every night and it just slips my mind so im sorry but ill try to get one done soon!

What kinds of marketing do you have in mind for this video game music series? I doubt that time would be wasted on newspaper ads or even ads on other websites however I believe that social media marketing is essential to any business venture whether it is a product or service or entertainment.

Have you created a Facebook and Myspace page for GameJams and posted your videos there? There are also dozens of free blog technologies where you can post your videos in order to make it easy for people to find. Twittering is also very popular and it would be another accessible avenue of receiving requests for your show. Asking your friends to post your work on their own blogs and websites and social media accounts is another easy way to create more watchers but only if your friends enjoy video games or music.

I think that the greatest way that you could create an audience for your videos is to make posts at local arcades and video game stores. Make friends with the employees and owners and have them place a big colorful advertisement in their front window. If you get in very friendly with the owners they may even play your show as background music so make sure that you say the name of your show and the site address through out the recording.

ok FINALLY got to it, i know its a bit of a cheat and whatever you dont like i can always change but here it is my first attempt at a banner for kennys game jams ^_^

It looks cool but I wish it showed more of her face and maybe chose a different font for Gamejams.
