What can I say? A great review as always, LaughingMan!
I haven't actually played the game, or, truth be told, don't actually intend to, but I had a good time reading your review, and - in one way or another - it made me appreciate and welcome such an "homage" a little bit more

I actually thought this review was pretty subpar, but I'm pretty luke-warm on my opinions on things as of late. There wasn't anything I really 'hated' or 'loved' about 3D Dot Game Heroes, unfortunately...
Thanks for the kudos, CineMax!

If you ask me, such calm, light and relaxed reviews have a right to exist too
Sure, it wasn't on the same level of greatness as your Castlevania: LoS or DMC reviews, but, then again, considering the subject, I though you did pretty well.

Ty Ty.
So, I see you're working on a new review as well (I won't mention the name incase it's a surprise topic). How's that coming?
I'm making a few minor changes to make the editor clearer as soon as I finish DvR ep 2, so hopefully that'll help. Both Ken and Zimes are working on new reviews, as well, so it should be a fruitful February.

Huh...? *Realizes he forgot to delete special image folder for his review* Oh, balls! Well, what can I say? Guilty...
In all seriousness: the writing process is going quite well, as a matter of fact (which is a great relieve since after the Jumper review I had some sort of a creative crisis, 'cos I couldn't even write a single genuine paragraph), and I'm basically half-done with the review. If everything goes well, I might even upload it by the weekend

Yes, I noticed how an additional fields for the large on the main page has appeared. Thanks! Though, I have yet to still figure out how to upload a special banner, which goes at the top of the page...

Ah, yes! I've seen their "Work in progress" topic at the special forums. Can't wait to read the full thing

Jesus, that's just like Darksiders ripped off the 3D Zelda adventures like Ocarina of Time!
I can't tell if that's sarcasm or not?
If it is, then 3D Dot Game Heroes is no different than the legions of Devil May Cry/God of War knockoffs, and while some of them use the same basic formula, each can be an entertaining game.
