Sorry, was watching Futurama all weekend.

Avatar was okay but I'll have to dabble in it a little more to determine if I like it or not.

Hahaha good one smart ass

In all fairness, I saw about 3 or 4 episodes and IT WASN'T BAD. I think it was ONOE who said it, but the jokes and facial expressions by Sakura (?? the brother) are actually sort of funny, the pacing is waaaaaaay better than that shitfest movie, and the voice acting is pretty good.

Basically, nothing is ANNOYING me, yet, so I'll dig a little deeper. It does look promising, though, in that adults-can-enjoy-Samurai-Jack sort of way.

It is targeted towards children but it does have stuff that will appeal to adults as well, made it a great cartoon for me and my kid to watch together.

Yeah Sokka is funny, and he gets better. What makes him funny is that he truely thinks he is great and a funny guy, and the absolute horror of jokes he tells are funny for that reason.

@ Zimes and his 'take a bullet first' comment.

It looks like a family-friendly show you can watch with your kids. If I were a father instead of a swinging bachelor, I'd try it out.

That was an awesome mislead. Futurama is a kickass show but you have to be kind of a science fiction nerd to get some of the jokes. But still you have Bender the alcoholic, cigar smoking, and kleptomanic robot so it's an instant win. Has anyone seen the new episodes yet and how do they rank?

You took the bullet for me too but I'll pass and stick with reruns of Robot Chicken.

I watched a few more episodes of The Last Airbender.
But to be honest, I think I'm going to stop before I wrap up the end of the first season, for now anyways. It's not that the series is bad, far from it. It's actually surprisingly decent (... okay, it's GOOD) and I don't want to get hooked on it until I have more free time on my hands.

So far The Last Airbender doesn't get my seal of approval, but it gets a pass and a recommendation for fathers who want to watch a cartoon with their kids that won't make either of them brain-dead (*SPONGEBOB et al!!*). Its got some good action, and the plot points aren't "Home Alone retarded" where 6 year olds kick the crap out of full-grown adults. There weren't a lot of story holes I could find, but there were a few things that I WOULD have called 'bullshit' on, but they probably would have abruptly resolved the series too soon.

So in all honesty, if anyone is looking for a family-safe cartoon to watch with their kids, but it won't patronize you, or overwhelm you with retarded bullshit, then I'd give this a look.

(Bullet taken, Zimes. I'd give it a green light)

That's pretty cool to get that many views in under 1 month. Nice going.
