Castlevania: Lords of Shadow review

Phlegyas is made of stone to some extent, but he's mainly molten rock and fire. That, and you don't actually FIGHT him as the boss, he is in the background and will sometimes try and crush you with his hands as you have to fight a horde of minions, so I feel that doesn't count .

You wrote such a great review for this video game that I can forgive you for reviewing Sam and Max. It was lengthy but it was funny and praising so I was wondering why you had such a hard time reviewing Sam and Max? I thought that the gay fetishist jokes were a nice touch because someone has to finally protest the Jap's poor-taste in character designs. I wonder when Mega Man will start wearing a leather thong?

I gave Lords of Shadow a rent last night and whoa it is good. It's a sweet ass monster stomper but the quick action stuff royally ticks me off.

CV:LoS is a pretty sweet game all around, but the quicktime stuff takes a LOT of getting used to. The Swamp was a total bitch because the monsters would always drag me under the water thanks to my lack of practice with the timed button mechanic. One wrong move, or if I was a hair too slow, and *BLOOP* my ass was drowned.
