Nice surprise to see the latest part of the DMC series review is a double header! That kicks ass guys! Don't think I will watch the anime though since both of you say its not that good.

I actually liked the anime. Yeah the show doesn't have much on flushing out the characters but neither did the games really. The animation was pretty sweet in places but Laughingman is right about it not lasting nearly long enough. Even worse is that a lot of the monsters are just lumbering, giant, stupid beasts that act like Dante's pinatas. Even the episodes that try to have a deep story like the Little Mermaid episode are very shallow because its only a half hour long.

Morrison was okay but all he ever did was explain crap to Patty, and all Patty ever did was bitch and moan about absolutely everything Dante did for her. She's the most ungrateful Little Orphan Annie on earth. Lady and Trish only had cameos and cat fights, so nothing special there.

What the fuck is up with those faggy strawberry sundaes????

I guess Dante blowing away demons, that was pretty cool.

How do you make the text that says "ONOE and Laughingman" match with the devil may cry anime logo? What do you use to make the rotating images?

Pretty cool review. Onoe's is fair and informative and Laughingman's rant had some LOL moments.
I won't be checking this out any time soon though. Not an anime fan, sorry. Still another good review.

I actually prefered ONOs review over the other just cause it was pretty informative. Plus ya gotta take a review about Japanese animation from a guy who says he hates animation lightly.

In "Epic Mickey" B-Mask shows the impact Disney has had on our generation in particular. Hopefully this will both inform and intrigue people about Disneys past and Epic Mickeys role in reviving the creative side of the Disney franchises.

BLASPHEMY!!

Jokin'. No offense taken, just glad that people are liking the collaboration on our anime review, even if one of us is hideously biased... ONOE!

If you can enjoy the Devil May Cry anime, then I won't hold it against you. The review was just my opinion, and opinions are like assholes: everyone is an asshole on the internet. ;)

Well I changed my mind.
Honestly, after reading your reviews I rented the DVDs from Hollywood Video and watched all the episodes and I was quite intrigued, the storyline was good, it didnt follow any of the games, thankfully. It was independent, away from the games, while keeping the characters’ main qualities at the forefront, for the most part anyways. I must admit, the strawberry sundae thing threw me off for a sec. Currently having and beaten 2 of the games, Devil may cry 1 and 4, I give the anime series a thumb and a half.

Huh, looks like ONOE converted another one... Even scarier is that I had a hand in it. :P
