They have some great jobs in certain films but I wouldnt say everything is perfection. Love Crowe in Gladiator for whatever that is worth and Liam did well in Rob Roy (id comment on Schindlers list but i dont recall enough of it) Love him as the voice of Asland as well

Personally, I don't think he's that bad either. That said, I can certainly understand why certain people can't stand him, and that's 'cos Nicky-boy can never do middle ground. He's either doing really, really good (Kick-Ass, The Family Man) or really, inconceivably bad (Knowing, The Wicker Man). The reason for that is — as a lot of people have pointed out over the years — he's ready to sign-up to do any rowdy, big-budget blockbuster, in the hopes of reviving the image of an 'Action Star' he once had.
Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with starring in popular, mainstream films; a lot of actors of his age or even older still do it, like Brad Pitt, Al Pacino, Morgan Freeman, Liam Neeson, Gary Oldman, Johnny Depp, etc. However (and this is the most important part), for every shalow, special effects extravaganza they made, they also starred in serious, character-driven works like 'The Tree of Life', 'Scent of a Woman', 'Shindlers List' — to name a few. As for Cage, he started out with these kinds of roles, but now he's just promiscuously choosing what's popular and rolling with it, not caring what legacy he'd leave after himself once he's gone.
Needless to say, that's something you'd expect from an emotionless, 'one role for life' broom cupboards like Jason Statham or the Rock, not a serious, renowned actor...

Seriously though, I don't have much hope for this movie. I like Nick but he just feels like he's not enjoying himself anymore. Just look at the sorcerers apprentice.

even though parts of me agree with the "Jason Stratham" and "Dwayne Johnson" one roll for life, even they TRY (Snatch, The Italian Job / the Game Plan, Tooth Fairy) and branch out unlike the ones I named above.
firery piss? yeah, color me curios as well.
