Nice job to whoever made the text around the Mass Effect logo. I haven't seen that sort of extra effort in a review for a while. Could this be heralding a Cheshire Cat Renaissance?

Me, ONOE, and LaughingMan all post a written review after a long hiatus — all of them are taken as given. *STAR* releases two episodes of the Silver Screen Podcast featuring key Cheshire Cat Studios members — "Eh, good job, I guess." Zimes gets a flashy title card — "CCS IZ BACK, BITCHEZ!" Or were you referring to the volume of the review? In that case, yes, you can clearly see our good friend Zimes has put alot of effort into this one. Oh, and the good news? There are still two other reviews in the makes!

What can really be said about Mass Effect to those who had played it firsthand? It is a fantastic and thought provoking science fiction game that I would dare say rivals the original Star Wars trilogy. The story is not necessarily the best ever written but it doesn't have to be because I felt that it was character driven compared to story driven. Furthermore the story is set in colorful universe of alien species that unlike most other science fiction franchises feel entirely alien and does not directly relate to human history and characteristics. Psychic reproduction, verbally expressing emotions, reproducing by the thousands, individual artificial intelligence units that compound their intelligence in mass, universal genocides by a superior race. An infinite universe would truly be alien to everything that defines the human condition. That is why I feel that though we will likely never see space exploration or experience an alien encounter the universe that exists within Mass Effect would be the most accurate. A great adventure story set to a realistic vision of outer space -relative to moon men with elf ears- is a great experience for those of us who will never live to see the real thing.

Me, ONOE, and LaughingMan all post a written review after a long hiatus — all of them are taken as given. *STAR* releases two episodes of the Silver Screen Podcast featuring key Cheshire Cat Studios members — "Eh, good job, I guess." I never said anything about the first podcast but the second I said quote AlphawolfX wrote: The three of you sound like you're having a lot of fun. There's some rambling but it's a this is a pretty great free for all. It is just really easy to sit in and listen to this podcast like you were the fourth person sitting around friends. I wouldn't edit out too much out because it might loose its best moments. I never said 'meh'. CineMax wrote: Zimes gets a flashy title card — "CCS IZ BACK, BITCHEZ!" There are still two other reviews in the makes! I was referring to the presentation and the first impression a newb gets from visiting the home page. Mass Effect, Rocksmith and Eve all look more like professional title cards instead of the boring looking screen shot or official artwork pasted as is. When I come here and see a nice title card on the home page it catches my attention better. A plain picture of Mass Effects Shepard is 'meh' because I don't know what you are selling me. If I saw times new roman text on the picture it would look like shit and I would have formed a bias in my head that the review will be shit too. When I see the fancy text I will click inside to skim it over and when the inside page has a big background and a banner in the curvy header its an even stronger first impression. But maybe that's just what I do and no one else. A_M wrote: What can really be said about Mass Effect ....... real thing. What ever floats your boat.

AlphawolfX wrote: I never said anything about the first podcast but the second I said quote... Fair enough. A rather excessive exaggeration on my part, I admit. AlphawolfX wrote: I was referring to the presentation and the first impression a newb gets from visiting the home page. I see. Still, like you yourself admitted, Cheshire Cat Studios has been using "professional", as you described them, title cards for quite some time now, so I was rather baffled why the one for Mass Effect had caught your attention so much.
