I watched Saw a long time ago and I rented Saw 2 for last night and it was not as good as the first saw but the acting was a little better and I think that the production value ruined a lot of the charm of the first movie. In the first movie not a ton of the gory parts are shown on camera but with the bigger budget they can make bigger and nastier deaths. I think that when the gory bits happen off camera that it is more effective because your mind fills in the gaps with things more horrible than they could be allowed to show in a theater.

the review is coming along very well and i hope you finish it soon
i stopped watching the saw movies after the fourth one cuz it kind of jumped the shark with the new villains being pulled out of that crazy killer's ass.

JUST SAW SAW VI
If Kenny hadn't beaten me to it I would have done a review of the series. But first come first serve. This movie was... well it was a gore fest. I almost cried I felt so bad for the people. For me personally, because everyone is different, it wasn't enough gore that I literally felt sick but it was close.
If you like a lot of blood, you'll like the latest installment. I don't know if it was worth $6 bucks though.
