Let's just get this over with as soon as possible. Saturday it is. LaughingMan wrote: Better make it clear what time, too. And make sure that B-Mask can make it before you get too carried away. You have his email address, I think. Fine. How about 2:00 PM EST (for Kenny and *STAR*) and 7:00 GMT (for B-mask)? Speaking of which, if he doesn't reply here, on the forums, in the nearest couple of hours, I'll send Will an email first thing in the morning. *STAR* wrote: I didnt reply because I had previously said I'm good whenever. I figured the rest of you were figuring it out and would get back to me. Meh, whatever. Shit happens. I'm just glad we're finally seeing some progress on operation 3D Discussion Podcast Take 2.

Sequels... possibly / Prequels
What do you think. No one specific title necessarily mentioned but just them as a whole and when its one to many. What do you think? I'm in.

But how can you determine whether a movie will be better or worse than an original movie? The majority of sequels and prequels are inferior to the first movie but sometimes they can be superior, such as the case with Aliens, The Dark Knight, Spider-Man 2, and Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back. There are always exceptions to the rules but exactly what are the rules for making a good movie? What does a director do exactly to recapture the essence of an original movie without making the new movies feel too much like the old, or too different?

LaughingMan wrote: Glad we're finally seeing some progress around CCS in general. Yeah, no kiddin'. Who knows? If we continue to release content as frequently as this, we might actually *GASP* develop a stable fan following! *STAR* wrote: OK I think I have figured out the next podcast topic Sequels... possibly/Prequels. I'm with Davy here. So far, the subject sounds too vague for me. I mean, it's literally impossible to predict whether the sequel is going to be better or worse than the original, so what are we going to discuss? Our favorite sequels? Which sequels we hated the most? What movie we would like to see sequels being made to?

I'm with Davy and CyniMax (<-- see what I did there? Cynical + Max?) about the subject being too vague. "Sequels always suck." "What about Aliens?" "Okay, Sequels almost always suck."
There's no position on which to make an unwavering opinion.
