I guess this is the closest we've ever got to a 'scathing' review from ONOE." Nonetheless, it was a good read and frankly, while I haven't been exposed to as many anime series as you, my friend, much like yourself I was utterly astonished when I read that the movie was written by Dai Sato. I mean, come on! The Dai Sato of Cowboy Bebop fame? How the hell did he end up writing this?! But yeah, 'twas another excellent review. And it's a good thing you posted it today, 'cos to tell you the truth, I'm almost done with mine! KennyFarino wrote: ImsorryIwasinthecarfortwodays... No problemo I'm happy that you liked it. And the disappointment that I feel for Dai Sato cannot be formed into adequate words. I just hope that I made my point clear enough so that I don't get a tsunami of hate comments saying that I'm a ranter and that Dai Sato can do no wrong.

I'm still just surprised that instead of finding something we'd be willing to go out and rent in public (*GASP*) you've tossed over something we should avoid. Like CineMax said, this is the closest thing we've ever gotten to "scathing" from you. I'm not complaining. Keep them coming.

The man may have been a legend at some point; however, much like in the case of other one-hit wonders like Frank Miller ( The Dark Knight Returns, Batman: Year One, Sin City) or M. Night Shyamalan ( The Sixth Sense, Unbreakable), if the man has started writing crap, no amount of blind-folded nostalgia can rectify this fact. The desperate fanboys will, of course, argue anyway, but if you truly respect the said creator and value his work, then you should be able to estimate his work objectively, not base your opinions of his every subsequent, crappy work on your affection for that one good one he wrote god knows how many yonks ago. Also, I'm with Laughy here. Seeing your, err, "wrath," I guess, was fun and all. However, it's been more than two or three months since I last had my, sadly, irregular dose of well-written, high quality anime. So, yeah. GIVE ME SOMETHING TO WATCH, DAMN IT!

I read up on what you get with the Tekken Hybrid package: Remastered Tekken Tag Tournament 1 could be good, but it's not a $30 game only a $15 future download game. Blood Vengeance is a $15 movie that apparently isn't worth the time of day for even ONOE Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Demo lets you play as only FOUR CHARACTERS in the demo. I pass.

Another well analyzed review from our good friend Onoe. What do you have in store for us next?

I have an Xbox 360 so I just don't care. The movie is clearly crap so what are you paying for? A demo and a 10 year old game.

It looked like typical anime trash to me. I was cruising down and cruising down and when I saw the robot girls riding a panda bear I LOLed I started back at the top and actually read it all. It was okay to see Yoko Onoe write a review that didn't have a happy spin on it but I wished Cinemax or Laughingman would have trashed Tekken instead. It would be a seven page long review that would zero in on that one picture with the girls and the panda.
