I'm finally going to wrap up Devil May Cry.

http://www.cheshirecatstudios.com/revie ... ay-cry.php

Rip it apart.

And if it gets derailed with gay Dante porn (AGAIN) I'm passing out warnings... seriously, it just needs critiqued, and made live to finish it off once and for all.

there's no need to get all butt hurt about it. . . unless you're Dante.

Well, I won't start on the "needs a dante and nero sex mini game" to push the limits but I will wait for someone else to start shit so I can jump on the band wagon :P

the review on how DMC could benefit from having multiple characters and lessen the stupid games and/or puzzles are very good. but what about how you would like to see game play?

also, tossing around the dress code makes you seem more like a clothes designer than a reviewer. you have a lot of nice rants in there though.

Finally, your gaping yap is useful :P

But seriously, good points. I'll do some critiquing... especially on the 'dress code' thing. It does sound really ..... 'flamboyant'.

You could make an addition where you compare the new action games like Dante's Inferno and write what Devil May Cry can do better.

Well, I dug up this old forum post to let everyone know that Dante and the whole Devil May Cry series is getting a makeover...........

Groan.....

http://www.qj.net/qjnet/news/ninja-theo ... y-cry.html

Now, Ninja Theory is the creator of "Heavenly Sword", a decent, but short, game. I played the demo of their latest work, "Enslaved: Journey to the West" and I was actually impressed with it and I might check out the whole game when it's released.

But now Ninja Theory is 're-imagining' Devil May Cry (aka "DmC" in this iteration) and as a fan of the series, I'm not sure exactly what to think. It's edgier, sure, but it just doesn't look like a Devil May Cry game. It's basically along the same line of thought as Mortal Kombat Rebirth, where an old franchise gets a darker makeover to look 'cooler'.

But whatever, at least there's no Nero...

-facepalm-

Giving Samus and Metroid a makeover was a complete and utter failure, so let's see how badly they fuck up DmC!
