YouTube yanked my Transformers Movie Review

Well, it looks like YouTube has been feeling the pressure from the MPAA and its attack dogs. I got the email notice that my Transformers Movie Review video was taken down because it 'contains intellectual property'.

First off, anyone who saw Transformers knows there's nothing 'intellectual' about it...

Secondly, how can Hollywood be so ANAL and OBTUSE? I mean, I can totally see problems with people posting FULL MOVIES, but removing a video that's comprised of CLIPS?

Anyways, turns out that you can repost the videos if you re-save them with a slightly different file size, rename them something obscure (aka 'worst movie.avi'), and throw them back up. I imagine that since YouTube gets like thousands of videos every day, there's no way to sort through them all, so their system searches for keywords and then turns the list over to moderators.

But all in all, the Transformers review is still live on this site (thank you BLIP.TV), and it's also live on YouTube once again. Neener Neener.

They also removed your Grand Theft Auto video. Of course that one was very raunchy
