Personally, I can't stand Williams Street works. They're stupid and un-funny. I do't mind stupid humour (I like Baseketball and Harold & Kumar, for instance), but there is a limit to how much I can take that stuff.

That said, I do like Robot Chicken.

Robot Chicken hooked me with their Star Wars parodies. They did a better job than that shit-show Family Guy. I can like a show that is intentionally stupid (Aqua Teen Hunger Force), but when you have a show that actually breaks the story just throw out a random gag, then jump back to the main story is when I lose interest. I have little respect for Family Guy's writing because instead of finding something funny that has to do with the topic at hand, they just slap in a completely random gag for shock value.

As such, I try to keep myself clear of adding random gags to the reviews I write on this site and instead try to keep on topic with the humor.

Yeah, I was a fan of Family Guy prior to its return and the earlier seasons still make me laugh. But, after its return, I noticed it was off and the problem was it became mean-spirited just for the sake of, the characters weren't like they used to be (Peter was suddenly annoying, Stewie lost his ambition to take over the world and became a stock gay character, Meg was just a punching bag) and the jokes seemed to lack wit. It says a lot about Seth MacFarlane's originality that his three shows on Fox are about a nuclear family.

At least, when Matt Groening was asked to do a second show on Fox, he instead when with a unique concept and not just another dysfunctional family (and I'm probably in the minority of people who prefer Futurama over The Simpsons).

I hear that! What's the difference between Family Guy, American Dad and The Cleavland Show again? Oh right, almost nothing. Even more appauling is the similarities between Family Guy and the Simpsons, and even some accusations on YouTube for Family Guy stealing Simpsons jokes.

Actually, I'm a bigger Futurama fan than a Simpsons fan as well. Futurama has some hilarious takes on pop-culture and science fiction that is a refreshing change form the 'American family comedy/sitcom' that's been run into the dirt since the beginning of television.
