Well the Microsoft E3 conference was pretty lackluster because I expected more out of project Natal than kart racers, petting a tiger, and online video conferences. When they were showcasing Call of Duty Black Ops why couldn't they have used either it or Gears of War 3 to have Natal built into its game play?
And the project heads and commentators were so smug and unlikeable while every one demoing the Natal technology were pretending to have way too much fun, so much that it actually made the audience go quiet when they should have been clapping their hands. The cute asian girl who was playing the controller free kart game was really bad. "I got them all!" But every girl who was using Natal was too giddy and overacting that the audience wasn't buying any of it.
This will come to be a surprise but I was the most happy when Xbox announced that they would stream ESPN game coverage.

There is a new Zelda game for the Wii and it looks good. There were some technical difficulties but you would swing your sword, throw bombs, use a whip and more. The Legend of Zelda the Skyward Sword is scheduled for release next year.
There is Mario Sports Mix which is just another Mario game where he plays hockey volleyball dodgeball and basketball.
There is a remake of GoldenEye coming to the Wii. It is sort of strange that they replaced Pierce Brosnan with Daniel Craig.
Finally there is the new Nintendo 3DS which has 3D in a handheld without glasses. And the first game to be showcased with 3D is a new Kid Icarus.

Does the Zelda game look a lot like a bunch of archery and sword fighting mini games to any one else? I am beginning to suspect that the Wii games are all rubbish.

Kevin B is awesome. The last bit of his speech was a little over the top, but when is he not? He got in a few good jabs at Microsoft and Nintendo though, and it sounded like the crowd was really digging him.
