I love racial stereotypes in commercials don't you? No? Well apparently Japanese corporations think we do. You have the vanilla white corporate tie-wearing stiff and then you have the hiphop black kid who talks gangsta. It would be so funny if it wasn't so un-PC. Where is the successful black corporate head interviewing the hillbilly?

I don't really understand why this commercial is offensive. I am not offended by the vanilla white man. I think that people who scream for Political Correctness just enjoy hearing themselves speak.
You know Sterotypes doe exist for a reason, does it mean it applies to everyone? Nooooooo but it sure as hell applys to alot, I think PC is bullshit and I am personaly sick of everything being watered down because we might offend someone. Hell I grew up trailer trash and I laugh when i see the sterotypical white trash honkey character because I grew up knowing so many of them.

I happen to agree with chuckysin about stereotypes because if there was no common trend among a group then the stereotype would simply not exist. The stereotype of Americans being loud obnoxious and very aggro is not only formed by your tourists but also from your films albums and your wild west cowboy history. As for those of us across the pond I envision that we are stereotypically tea and crumpets and "God save The Queen" which has its place in our culture. If we produced and consumed rice we would probably have stolen that stereotype from the Chinese.
And the Frustrated Brother video had me in stitches. The ponderous look on the poor boy's face was priceless.
The series is dedicated to analyzing and eviscerating tasteless low-budged B-grade knock-offs of more popular and expensive Hollywood flicks - Mockbusters. CineMax is an amateur, yet aspiring movie critic, who makes comedic video reviews, writes insightful and analytical articles, and, occasionally just blabbers about stuff he deems important.
