Mortal Kombat 9 2011

Well, that news was predictable. Want a game to be good? Add a platform-exclusive character to it. Worked for Soul Calibur 2, didn't it?

Well it's not a bad gimmick... unless the Xbox crowd gets a shit character. Not a lot of ultra violent characters in the Xbox library that would fit in the Mortal Kombat universe. Of course considering that they tried to wedge in Superman and Wonder Woman, then they might try to wedge in Master Chief or some Viva Pinatas. Heh.

But since Ken and Zimes hate Kratos, then it should be worthwhile for them to pick this up, since you could tear out Kratos's spine, or rip out organs, or all sorts of nasty finales to the God of War.

I dont hate kratos, I just think his story sucks and they (sony) has past on some characters that actually have a decent story to them.

But you've said numerous times on these forums that Kratos could get more done if he would keep his c*ck in his pants, instead of banging chicks off camera in the middle of a battle. Whether or not that counts as a drop of anger in a bucket of hate, I dunno, but you certainly dislike him.

Personally, I prefer Rick Taylor, THE ORIGINAL KING OF VIDEO GAME BADASSES, over Kratos.

I'd like to see some of the finishing moves and special attacks Kratos would have. Would he be fighting hand to hand or does he get to use the chain blades?

It's short, but pretty friggin epic.

That video looks awesome until the god of war appears that is. I don't like crossovers in fighting games, they don't make sense and they are too many times just gimmicks by a sub par product. Why can't games stand on their own merit instead of adding characters that don't fit? Has any one played Soul Calibur with Darth Vader, Yoda and the Apprentice from The Force Unleashed? It's a joke when a samurai or a knight fights Darth Vader and can even win.

Let's not forget Mortal Kombat vs. DCU, either.

But seriously, all Kratos does is fight and kill, fight and kill. He's a perfect addition to the Mortal Kombat Universe.
