Hey all,
the top 3 most memorable gaming moments. Why 3? I can't think of 2 more for my list.

-AX

1-- Psycho Mantis in Metal Gear Solid. back when rumble was new, Psycho Mantis the evil psychic made your controller vibrate across the floor using his mind. Then he read your memory stick for game saves and started asking questions like "you like Castlevania?" I was like HOW DID HE KNOW THAT??? For the time it was a total headjob.

2 -- The first 5 minutes of Zelda, Ocarina of Time. Most epic expereince of all time. Enough said.

3 -- Playstation 3 launch at E3. Not the one where they unveiled the $600 price tag, the one where they EMBARASSED THEMSELVES with their ilineup. The cherry on the cake was the clown playing the medieval japan beatemup saying that the game was based on "real events' and then immediately after discussing how to 'defeat the giant enemy crab' by 'attacking his weakpoint for maximum damage.' WHAT THE HELL?????? I almost felt bad for Sony because they were like a little girl singing a solo in a gradeschool concert and forgetting the words. Then I remembered the $600 price tag and wanted to throw a tomato at her.

Top 3 is much easier to come up with than Top 5 ;)

Most memorable game moment was Mega Man 2. It was the first game I ever played! :D Utter aggro but it is still the best!

My first Sony Playstation is my second. I remember thinking that the graphics were the greatest things ever. My first CD games were Ridge Racer, Myst, and Battle Arena Toshinden. I still have them!

Final Fantasy 7 is a favorite of mine and the whole game was a really good experience. I adore that game!

1) Silent Hill 2 - The 'truth' about what happened to Mary (your wife). The scene still makes my skin crawl.

2) Ninja Gaiden (NES) - Finally beating that hard SOB after 10 years. Seriously, it's harder than hell to beat that game. You have to memorize EVERYTHING.

3) Metal Gear Solid 3 - Ending. Heartbreaking and epic. You had to kill your love and mentor, all in the name of Patriotism. The final solute is the heart-clencher.

4) Silent Hill 2 (again) - PYRAMID HEAD. The coolest, most disturbing creature ever devised by a human mind.
Here's TWO of them:

5) Nintendo Power. The magazine for game nerds. I subscribed for about 5 years and it was so cool being 12 and getting not only mail, but VIDEO GAME NEWS! Unfortunately, now there's the internet so it's not a huge deal anymore.
