Well I think this was more for fun from fans then meant to be more of a legitimate pitch for a film, but im sure if you search enough you can find some buzz about someone thinkin "Hmmm... maybe... just maybe...."

It looks good BUUUUUUT anybody notice that Mortal Kombat Rebirth and Portal: No Escape share the same FONT? Apparently fonts help make video game videos edgy...

I saw this on IGN and I'm pissed off that there was no Galdos. Glados makes Portal more than just a trippy puzzle game.

It looks pretty cool. The way you guys were talking you made it sound like it was from the same director who made that new Mortal Kombat series. The similarities in style are undeniable but like Jack said a taunting villain would be a nice touch that I'd hope isn't lost in a movie adaptation.

I'll be honest- I don't think a full length Portal film could work- UNLESS they didn't play it as a typical straight story. The thing about Portal is that it's entirely an immersive experience. It's all about the Players reactions to Glados. Whether she's trying to encourage you, kill you, or depreciate you, it all counts towards the way you play the game or the way you enjoy it. I think a movie could do it, but it has to be the right script. So many movies just go for 'COME AND SEE US BECAUSE WE'RE EPIC' when they forget that it's the characters that should be holding the movie up. As amazing as the portal concept is, it's the interactions that really count.
