TGWTG - That Guy With The Glasses

If we had more followers, like 4chan and other internet terrorists, we should do the following:

Create a 'TGWTG in 5 seconds'. Splice clips of the most annoying moments of the Critic and crew spazzing out like the usually do in every video, and at the end use the Willy Wanka clip where Doug screams: "SHUT UP! YOU'RE ANNOYING!!"

THEN, we all use 10-minute-email to create a ton of bogus youtube accounts and post the video like 10x each in 10 temporary youtube accounts.

Internet terrorism FTW.

While it would be funny to make a 5 second criticism of That Guy in the Glasses but it seems that no one there has a sense of humor to really appreciate that kind of constructive criticism.

Are they annoying? Yes.
Do they have a sense of humor? No.
Do they have rabid fanboys who will boycot everything this site does? In spades.

Yeah, we'd see a tsunami of annoying, pissed off 12 year olds, and that would include the entire cast of TGWTG.com. If we were bigger I would totally suggest picking a fight with TGWTG.com. It seemed to work wonders when he started shit with the Video Game Nerd.

It was just an idea, sheesh. I was IM-ing Kenny F yesterday and he was even wary of pulling off such a stunt.

The Critic's fanboys have you all running scared of "TEH TGWTG BANHAMMER!"

For the record (again) I don't have anything against TGWTG or anyone else there personally. I never submitted a video, so I can't be butthurt about not being accepted or anything.

Getting back on track: ThatGuyWithTheGlasses has gone downhill. A LOT. And apparently we're only a few of the people who will actually (constructively) criticize the site and the shows thereon.

Incidentally, they posted one of those subtitled Hitler videos today, where they had Hitler shouting out criticisms that have been lobbied at Walker's series. Yep, he just compared anybody who dares to criticise his videos to the Leader of the Third Reich. Though, I will admit it was somewhat amusing.

Speaking of which, I felt the Battlefield Earth Nostalgia Critic actually felt like the earlier episodes (bar Spoony cameo and an "Alvin and the Chipmunks"-type rant that ran too long). Mainly, I appreciated he actually explained throughout the course of the video why he disliked the film rather than just dubbing over John Travolta and then doing a short, profane-laced rant at the end.

@ anyone else: Yeah, I'd like to clarify with LaughingMan that we're trying to constructively criticize TGWTG, and THAT'S IT. We're certainly not trying to pull a Vaughn on Movies and actually bash the living hell out of everybody out of mean spirit, we're just pointing out what could be improved.

Check out the first video on today's main page (Feb. 4).

And as I said, though he obviously has never been on this forum, his Battlefield Earth video had all of the things I had previously mentioned that he didn't do anymore, hence why I feel that recent one was closer to his earlier work.

I'll have to check it out tonight. I'll give my 'constructive criticism' tomorrow... maybe.
