Looks like TGWTG.com got a new site design. Thank God...
Really the only thing that would make his fight with the video game nerd look less like a poofter-romp would be if they just stripped down and shagged.

He's not so much criticizing the review as he is doing a Mystery Science Theatre sort of deal.

It's not even that, he's forcing humor. If he did a Mystery Science on his reviews at least he would keep pace with the video but he deliberately stops a review dead in its tracks to squeeze in a bullshit skit like the SuperCrapAFuckALicious song or whatever. The Critic reminds me of that fucking horrible G4 network where their video game reviews get 'guest celebrities' where you have a cutout headshot of Tom Cruise laughing maniacally. Its like someone writes a funny skit about a monkey playing with a yo-yo and they try to wedge it into a review of Nightmare on Elm Street. Just like fucking FAMILY GUY.

He and everyone on that site are the bastard offspring of an ADD culture raised by Saturday morning cartoons. That's what he really is. A cartoon. An annoying one. Like Spongebob Squarepants.

And here legitimate criticisms led to all out raging. I dont disagree or really have an opinion but some of the comments could be misinterpreted as a long TGWTG bas topic instead of appearing as legitimate criticisms.

I have to admit that his newest Jaws 3D review made me laugh quite a lot:

I even found that six-part mini-series last week to be rather enjoyable, though your mileage may certainly vary.

@ Dave: Really, me and LaughingMan started discussing the topic in MSN one day, and then this thread came about, so I can't vouch for the mob mentality :P.

I have not seen the Nostalgia Critic in several months. I don't think that I am honestly missing anything. I have also been so disillusioned by that website that it just is not worth my time anymore.
I have also noticed that the Angry Video Game Nerd has dropped his video game reviews to only being a monthly series rather than semi-weekly. It is like every one, including the reviewers themselves, are growing out of video reviews.

The series is dedicated to analyzing and eviscerating tasteless low-budged B-grade knock-offs of more popular and expensive Hollywood flicks - Mockbusters. CineMax is an amateur, yet aspiring movie critic, who makes comedic video reviews, writes insightful and analytical articles, and, occasionally just blabbers about stuff he deems important.

Relax spiral, no one is directly accusing you of anything... except for having good taste in internet reviewers.

I wont defend ThatGuyWithTheGlasses but I like their site because there is so much diversity. You have comic book reviewers, movie reviewers, video game reviewers, and japanese anime reviewers all in one place. I agree that some of the talent is lacking but at least there is something for every one.

TGWTG.com would be a good place to see good reviews, but the problem is that with the bajillion 'talents' on that site, it's still like digging through a pile of shit for a quarter.
