Yeah, I don't read the comments sections as it's mainly people blindly it's the best video ever and anybody who offers the least bit of criticism is voted down. There's also a major iflux of "first" posts at the beginning. In the forums, there's more freedom and if you say you disliked the latest NC video, they don't burn down cars and cause a riot. I found no rock-throwing when I explained my dislike for the Tank Girl review.

And I don't see Bad Movie Beatdown being taken down as horrible as it is, due to the host being a site admin and massive kiss-up.

And thanks. I will use my blip.tv video, if that's alright. I actually prefer it over YouTube, since they don't go bonkers over trivial copyright matters, even though I'm breaking no copy-right laws.

I do agree, compared to his earlier work, Doug seems a little less entertaining then he use to be. But I still enjoy his videos.

I cant stand Distressed Watcher i have no idea why he is even there.

Those first comments of "I'm first woo" and then nothing are annoying and stupid. Wheres the delete button when you need it.

I do have to thank the site to a degree though, minus introducing me to other people (Linkara, Spoony) if it wasn't for the forums I wouldn't have met Kenny and a few other critics, like I met JewWario and Mike form Shameful Sequels BEFORE they were featured in the forums so I'm thankful for that. And if I hadn't seen the brawl video I never would have made my reviews lol.

Overall the site, in my personal opinion, is/ can still be entertaining. Yes the quality of some are dropping while others should never have been there in the first place -cough- distressed watcher -cough- but I'll still be hanging around and wishing and working for the dream where I can get paid to do nothing but make reviews. ^_^

As far as AVGN I do enjoy his movie critics and and I think AVGN has definitely dropped in quality since i first saw his videos. He just doesn't seem funny anymore ya know? But again i still check him out.

Spoony I enjoy. I think he has a great sense of humor but I agree with everyone else that his movie critics are to harsh. I think he went overboard with Transformers and even with Avatar. I can understand to wanting some logic to a degree but its an alien planet, let it go, who really cares how the mountains are floating really. Do you care? I dont. I'm just looking at all the pretty things. lol

BlipTV, Google Video, or whatever works for you. I figure most people use BlipTV now because of the looser copyright rules and the ad-revenue (myself included). But yeah, the forums here are open for people to post their work, we don't mind. Feel free to start new topics and whatnot unless you want to keep a single ThatFellowInTheCoat thread.

Also, I finished watching the Nostalgia Critic's Ernest Saves Christmas review and it was about 15 minutes of the pot calling the kettle ANNOYING.

There are definitely some plusses to the TGWTG site as STAR suggested, like meeting her and other contributors on other sites (LaughingMan thru this site, ThatFellow who graciously puts my videos on his site, etc), and it allowed me to even get into reviewing in the first place when I made a (very crappy) first video of The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari .

But the Social aspect of the TGWTG.com site has nothing to do with the decline in quality of that site. I'm grateful for the social connections and the readers that we at CheshireCatStudios.com attracts from TGWTG.com, but that has no effect on the fading lack of quality in the Critic's reviews, the new shows, or the rabid fanboyism in the comment sections. That is shifting the argument entirely.
