A year ago, Stan Lee, Studio DEEN and Hiroshi Nagahama (MushiShi) announced their second collaboration project called The Reflection, a 30 minute series centering around a world where a cataclysmic event turned handful of humanity into superheroes/villains and how it affects our world. It was believed to be shelved off until this year, Studio DEEN unveiled concept footage for the show for the L.A. Comic Con:
To be frank, I’m really surprised this year with japanese animation teaming up with different people from around the world and while collaborations are nothing new to Japan, it’s become more apparent with Porter Robinson on his “Shelter” project, Stan Lee with Bones on Heroman (a show I’m still waiting for Funimation to pick up and dub already!) and this. Possible discussion?
"The world is merciless and it's also very beautiful."
Cheshire Cat Studios is the home of what we hope is a mix of artistic integrity and dry humor. We share a passion for movies, games and other mediums but are looking to spread our reach into more original content in the future: investigative videos, satirical comedies, and animated podcasts. We like to think that we approach topics with a down to earth, analytical viewpoint and don’t play favorites.
